Winter Garden

I woke up late Monday morning and the backyard was covered with snow. The garden lights were sparking.

It was beautiful.

January 21, 2007 - Cold, a snow storm is expected to sweep through this evening and by tomorrow it will be cold, rainy, slippery, wintery. Here is a picture of my garden late summer/early fall 2006. It's a starting point.

Beginning of the year

January 16, 2007 - On Sunday I spent some time in the garden. Winter weeding, dreaming, cleaning up a little. It is so much fun to plan and manage this garden. Small enough to manage, big enough to really pack a punch.

The daffodils are up about 6 inches -- too early. Some things I want to add to the garden:
